Spring Has Almost Sprung

With Spring just around the corner, it seems like everyone in the car community is itching to get out and drive! Everyone here at the WCOT is buttoning up their Winter projects, grabbing the detail supplies, and frantically making all of their finishing touches before the warm weather is in full effect.
If you love driving, then you can understand why those first few days of consecutive sunshine in the early Spring can feel like Christmas morning. You wake up to the warmth of sun on your face, you can hear the sound of birds chirping, and you look out the window to see there isn’t a cloud in sight. You step outside and feel the mild low 60’s temperature in the air.
Spring has Sprung, and you can almost hear the collective “rumble” as everyone turns the key on their prized possessions that have been dormant all Winter. As you pull your car out of the garage and hit the road you begin to notice the lack of silvers, beige, and other boring colors. All of a sudden, as if someone flipped a switch overnight, the road is alive with bright blues, vibrant reds, and a plethora of other metallic paint glistening in the gorgeous Spring sun. Windows are down, sunglasses are on, and there isn’t a frown in sight.

You see a guy in a 69’ Camaro give a “thumbs up” to a guy in a MK2 Golf GTI. You see a girl in a stanced Subaru wave to a girl in a heavily modified Audi. This is what cars are all about. It doesn’t matter what you drive, as long as it has #4wheelsandamotor, you’re part of the West Coast Octane Tour.
